Trevor hollered, “Simone, come see what I got. It’s thrilling.”
Trevor heard the clopping of Simone’s shoes down the stair, stopping when she arrived at the door to the den. “What’s up, my brother?”
Trevor’s eyes twinkled with excitement. “You know the fun authors down the street? They stopped by and asked us to vote for their audiobook, Out of Poland. This historical fiction is a tale centered around the German invasion of Poland at the beginning of World War II. They wrote a fictional story with real historical facts and had a voice actor, Derek Shoales, create the audiobook. His talented narration makes an easy listening experience. Look, they even put in a QR code so you can click and jump to the voting website. InD’tale magazine is running its annual RONE award competition. Votes during the week of May 9 to May 15 could earn our authors a chance as a finalist.”
Simone is mesmerized as Trevor pulls up the voting website, logs in, and votes for Breakfield & Burkey’s Out of Poland audiobook. “Wow, Trev, that was easy. How many times do you get to vote?”
Trevor sighed. “Only once. We only have this week to vote, so I wanted to do it now. Say, let’s set up an account for you to vote. It’s easy and free to create an account.”
